What exactly is Blue Hour Wind-Down Cherry?

A melatonin-free bedtime mocktail powder. Each serving delivers 300 mg magnesium bisglycinate (elemental), 480 mg tart cherry extract, 200 mg L-theanine, and 2 g glycine. It's fizzy, tart-cherry flavored, zero sugar, and dissolves clear in seconds in cold sparkling water. 30 servings per jar. How do I use it?

Is the mouth tape safe? Who shouldn't use it?

Our tape is a soft-hold, sensitive-skin adhesive designed for comfortable nose-breathing — and we disclose every material on the box. That said: do not use mouth tape if you have nasal congestion, suspected sleep apnea, have been drinking alcohol, or for children. Remove it immediately if you feel any discomfort. When in doubt, ask your doctor — and the powder is a complete ritual on its own.

What's the difference between the travel sticks and the jar?

Is there really no melatonin in it? I heard tart cherry contains melatonin.

No added melatonin — ever. Full transparency: tart cherries, like many fruits, naturally contain trace amounts of melatonin measured in nanograms — on the order of thousands of times less than the smallest melatonin supplement. That's a dietary trace, not a hormone dose. If you came to Blue Hour to escape the melatonin fog, you're in the right place.

Why magnesium bisglycinate instead of citrate or oxide?

Gentleness. Citrate and oxide are the cheap forms with a well-known laxative effect — the 3am bathroom surprise. Bisglycinate is magnesium bound to glycine: well-absorbed and gentle on the stomach. It costs us more. Your stomach is worth it.

Is it vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free?

Can I drink it with alcohol, or use it as a mixer?

We designed Blue Hour as an alternative to the nightcap, and it's a favorite of sober-curious evenings — so we don't recommend mixing it with alcohol. Also, skip the mouth tape entirely on any night you've been drinking.

Who should check with a doctor first?

If you're pregnant or nursing, taking any medication, or managing any health condition, check with your healthcare provider before starting Blue Hour — magnesium in particular can interact with certain medications, including some antibiotics. Blue Hour is formulated for adults and isn't intended for anyone under 18.

Can I take Blue Hour every night?

It's designed for every night. The formula is hormone-free and built from a mineral and amino acids at doses within studied ranges — there's no "hormone hangover" cycle to manage. As with any supplement, consistency matters more than intensity: one serving, nightly.

Will I feel groggy in the morning?
